The purpose of this web site is to demonstrate the Joomla extension OrgChart.
This OrgChart extension uses the modified preorder tree traversal (MPTT) model.
The OrgChart is dynamically built using the "Entities" MPTT table.
There are three "Types" of "Entites" (Groups, Positions, and Persons).
For demonstration purposes this OrgChart models Loudon County Habitat for Humanity.
The Entity Type Group has a background color of gray.
The Entity Type Position has a background color of blue.
The Entity Type Person has a background color of green.
Click on the text links within an entity to view detail information.
Note: Because the MPTT model is used, multiple instances of a Group, Position or Person can exist while there is only one definition of that Group, Position, and Person.
There are five OrgChart tables:
1) The MPTT table Entities
2) Types
3) Groups
4) Positions
5) Persons
